231 to 233 upgrade service

I am now offering a 2.3.1 (or 2.3.2) to 2.3.3 upgrade service. It does not matter if your site is fairly basic or if it is highly modified with addons and template. The cost of the upgrade service is $275, and you end up with all core files properly updated, along with all 2.3.3 features added.

Why should you upgrade?

2.3.3 brings a lot of bugfixes over previous versions.
2.3.3 brings more security over previous versions.
2.3.3 brings more flexibility and is the first version to run out of the box on PHP v5.4

Why should you choose me to upgrade?

1. It saves you the time and stress. You run your business without having to worry about the technicalities of the software you are using.
2. I am one of the five coders actively involved in the new codebase for 2.3.3 which means I know the code inside out and upside down. No worries, no problems.

What about heavily customised oscommerce builds?

  • Gary

If the customised build is on 231, then no problem.

If it is on an older version (2.2), then the price goes upwards (substantially).

    Hi Gary,

The malformed url issue, which was confirmed here:

    http://forums.oscommerce.com/tracker/issue-314-malformed-url-issue/

is not mentioned anywhere in osC v2.3.3. Is it that it has been addressed in

    catalog/admin/includes/functions/general.php

and so that the fix for catalog/includes/functions/html_output.php is not required anymore?

    Thanks, Eddy

Sorry I did not make it very clear – does it mean I have to reverse the fix posted in http://forums.oscommerce.com/tracker/issue-314-malformed-url-issue/ back to what it was?

I have not tried yet but the original fix did already solve the malformed url issue that we discovered while using your "More Logical Checkout" mod.

    Thanks again.

    Hi Eddy

I would reverse the original fix and try this new one.
